Supervisor: Dr. Hongliang Ren in the Department of Biomedical Engineering.

Project title: ‘Finger Movement Classification of Myoelectric Signals using Convolutional Neural Networks’

• Performed data collection & developed an algorithm to classify finger movements from Electromyography signals using CNN.
• Performed an analysis of the performance of CNN architectures like InceptionNet, VGGNet and ResNet on the data.
• Achieved 72.5% accuracy using a custom variant of InceptionNet which was used to track the movement of a robotic arm.​
